# POST /items/bulk

POST https://api.webflow.com/beta/collections/{collection_id}/items/bulk
Content-Type: application/json

Use [Create Items](/data/v2.0.0-beta/reference/cms/collection-items/staged-items/create-items) for new beta integrations. [Creating collection items](/data/v2.0.0-beta/docs/working-with-the-cms/create-items) explains how to move from this endpoint.

Rich Text field values can contain Webflow component instances as `<wf-component>` markup — see [Components in Rich Text](/data/docs/working-with-the-cms/components-in-rich-text) for the markup grammar, how to find component and property IDs, and the write constraints.

Create an item or multiple items in a CMS Collection across multiple corresponding locales.

**Notes:**

* This endpoint can create up to 100 items in a request.
* If the `cmsLocaleIds` parameter is undefined or empty and localization is enabled, items will only be created in the primary locale.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `collection_id` (string, required) — Unique identifier for a Collection

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects an object.

- `cmsLocaleIds` (list of string, optional) — Array of identifiers for the locales where the item will be created
- `lastPublished` (string, optional) — The date and time when the item was last published.
- `lastUpdated` (string, optional) — The date and time when the item was last updated.
- `createdOn` (string, optional) — The date and time when the item was created.
- `isArchived` (boolean, optional, default: false) — Indicates whether the item is archived.
- `isDraft` (boolean, optional, default: true) — Whether the item is created in a draft state. A new item has never been published, so `isDraft: true` gives it a `Draft` status. Set `isDraft: false` to queue the item to publish on the next site publish.
- `fieldData` (CollectionsCollectionIdItemsBulkPostRequestBodyContentApplicationJsonSchemaFieldData, optional)

- `isArchived` (boolean, optional, default: false) — Boolean determining if the Item is set to archived
