# New: Branch API (beta)

> Document the Enterprise Branch API for page branching — list, create, update, merge, publish, delete, and async task polling.

The Branch API (beta) is now documented for Enterprise sites with page branching enabled.

### Webhooks

* **`branch_created`**, **`branch_merged`**, and **`branch_deleted`** event schemas are documented under [All Events](/data/v2.0.0-beta/reference/all-events). Successful merges fire `branch_merged` only — not `branch_deleted`.
